Course 1: City & Guilds Refrigerant Handling for Mobile Air Conditioning Systems (7543-01)
Introduction
This is a one or two day training course with a practical and oral exam. Candidates will be provided with course study notes.
Personal protective equipment is required for those attending the course.

Course 3: City & Guilds Advanced Diagnostics of Mobile Air Conditioning Systems (7543-03)
Introduction
This is a five day training course with a practical and oral exam. Candidates will be provided with course study notes.
Personal protective equipment is required for those attending the course.
Schedule
This course is arranged in the following sections:
- Legislative and organisational requirements and procedures
- Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the principles of operation, purpose, construction, diagnosis, removal, refilling and maintenance
- Accessing relevant data from the utilisation of information sources
- Diagnose faults via gauge pressure interpretation, system diagnostics and repair procedures for both TXV and FOT
- Remove and replace components
- Operational function of the climate control system
- Operation purpose, construction, removal, refitting of climate control system components
- Use of special purpose tools, equipment and materials needed to evaluate, diagnose, remove and refit climate control system faults and components
